LIVING APART TOGETHER

The design combines the dire for individuality with the desire for community by connecting two housing units by a large kitchen. It's made of modules of 4x5=20m², which are put together in a fixed frame and that are accessed by exterior stairs and pergolas.

The apartment sizes are 80-100m² and are suitable for singles as well as for couples with or without children. The 2-3 room apartments are partly linked horizontal or ertically, stacked or lined up. Within the seperate housing units it's possible to combine the room modules to get large living spaces.

The open facade ensures natural lightling for the home. It shows the togetherness of the housing units - on one hand by the arrangement of the openings and on the other hand by changing the color and direction of the wooden covering. The ground floor storage contains storage rooms and a laundrette.
